Sonny Knight (producer of Spiral Staircase), Terry Melcher (producer of The Byrds, Paul Revere and The Raders, Mark Lindsey), David Kirschenbaum (producer of Duran Duran, Tracy Chapman, Joe Jackson, Laura Branigan, Bryan Adams, Supertramp, Cat Stevens, Tori Amos, etc.), and Jack Gold (West Coast Senior VP Columbia Records), Dallas Smith (producer of Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Five Man Electrical Band), Hal Blaine (Wrecking Crew drummer), Glen D. Harding (session pianist and music director with Elvis), Jim Keltner (session drummer, worked with Ringo Star, The Travelling Wilburys, etc), Alan O'Day (artist/songwriter of Angie Baby, Rock and Roll Heaven, Undercover Angel, Easy Evil), Pat Flynn (songwriter/guitarist and member of The New Grass Revival), and Lee Sklar (bassist with James Taylor, Linda Ronstadt, Carol King, etc.) to name a few.
In addition to singing, playing guitar, songwriting, record production and engineering, Colin plays bass, pedal steel guitar, and dobro and has recorded and performed with many notables on their projects, as well as his solo projects .
Music was his first career, and although it was not his primary focus for a period of time, he's been back performing (mostly an acoustic single in Southern California), is currently recording an album of original material and releasing singles in advance of the album release, and does occasional session work for other artists and friends. In addition, he plays guitar in a trio at the church he attends and says it's a great investment of the gifts that God has blessed him with and a little pay-it-forward action.
